Carol Lynn Spurlock, 45, of Crossett, died Saturday, June 13, 2015 at the Ashley County Medical Center. Ms. Spurlock was a native and life long resident of Crossett; a homemaker and a member of the Cloverdale Assembly of God Church.
She is preceded in death by her father, James “Buddy” Carroll Norrell in 2013.
She is survived by two daughters, Kayla Spurlock of Bryant and Mallory Spurlock of Crossett; a grandson, Zayden Spurlock of Crossett; her mother, Shirley Smith Norrell of Crossett; three sisters, Paula Cameron of Crossett, Sandy Mee and husband, Jeff, of Bryant and Beverly Land and husband, Drayton, of El Dorado; five brothers, Lamar Smith and wife, Nancy, of Morrilton, Jack Murphy and wife, Lois, of Angleton, Texas, Pete Murphy and wife, Martha, Donnie Murphy and Mike Norrell all of Crossett and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are 2 p.m., Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at the Cloverdale Assembly of God Church with Bro. John Martin and Bro. Drayton Land officiating. Burial will be in the Carlock Cemetery. Pallbearers are Donnie Murphy, Lamar Smith, Pete Murphy, Blake Norrell, Jack Murphy and William Land. Honorary pallbearers are Ovid Switzer and DeWayne Norrell. Memorials may be made to the Cloverdale Assembly of God Church, 132 Ashley 15 Road, Crossett, AR 71635.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday at the church.
