Audrey Lee Brown Edwards, 57, of Hamburg, made her final move to her heavenly home on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at her residence. Mrs. Edwards was a lifelong resident of the Shiloh Community northeast of Hamburg. She worked at the Garment Factory in Hamburg for almost 20 years and she was a member of the Shiloh Baptist Church.
Audrey had many go before her that were a big part of her life, a son, Shannon Ray Montgomery in 1996; her father, John Earl Brown in 1986, a brother, Johnny Ray Brown in 2014, her grandparents, Rev. Samuel Leroy & Audrey Irene Dingler Brady and Willie P and Gertrude Sheiron Brown.
Leaving to mourn their loss of Audrey but celebrate her step-up from pain and trouble are her husband, Buford “Buzz” Edwards; a son, Eric Lee Montgomery and wife, Jennifer, all of Hamburg; a step-son, Ronnie Joe Edwards of McGehee; a step-daughter, Regina Faye Bullock of Lake Village; her mother, Clyda Faye Brady Sims of Monticello; a sister, Linda Brown Ngar and husband, Sam, of Dumas; nine beloved grandchildren and two beloved great-grandchildren.
A private burial will be in the Flat Creek Cemetery at a later date. A gathering of family and friends will be 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at the funeral home.
