I will miss Mr. Wesley so much. Every morning I worked with him and he had his breakfast we would watch the news together. I love the conversations we would have and jokes. Work is just not the same anymore. I loved him and will miss him dearly. Praying for the family for health and strength through this time of mourning.

So sorry for your loss. I had the honor of being apart of Mr Harville's life for the last few years and every day was a blessing. He taught me so much from football to god. He always had a light in his eyes. Even in the face of his illness his faith never waivered. I will forever be grateful and honored. Rest well Mr Harville!! Love Brandy.

I am so sad to see him leave us. He was very dear to my heart. I enjoyed seeing him. We had become such good friends. I even brought my daughter to see him and he asked me about her daily. I shared pictures with him. He was such a great spiritual, intelligent, man of God and I would love to go in his room on Sunday mornings to listen Pastor Tony Evans from Oak Cliff Bible Fellowship in Dallas with him. Oh how I will miss him. He fought a good fight but God was ready for him. He missed the love of his life but they are reunited. RIP my friend. Prayers for Leslie and the rest of the family.

I did not personally know Bro. Harville very well, but my late husband followed him a few years later as pastor of Mt. Hope Baptist Church, Ratcliff, AR. It seems as if I should know him because of the many nice comments made by the members of the church regarding him. I am sorry to hear of his struggle with ALS and the fact that his wife preceded him in death. I will be praying for his family in future days.

Meeting Mr. Harville a couple of years ago has been such a blessing to me. And I am happy that I was able to reconnect him with my dad, Tommy Roberson, again. I think they both enjoyed their visits and got a kick reminiscing about their high school years. You are going to be missed, Mr. Harville! May you Rest In Peace.

Brother Wesley was an encourager to me, another southeast Arkansas boy (from New Edinburg) who went to UAM and then Seminary. He was a godly man of faith, strength, faith, and courage. May we all follow his example. God bless you, Harville family, and give you comfort in your time of sorrow.

John Wesley Harville is free from his earthly confinement at last. He suffered years of ALS with great dignity, humility, and grace. He never stopped encouraging others to commit the Word of God to memory. His three books all done in his confinement will be a blessing for years to come. His postings on Facebook is read by hundreds if not thousands. I am glad to call him FRIEND! But, I will miss visiting with him for the little time we all have left. Blessings on all the family members. You have been handed a great legacy in a true Christian gentleman and minister.

Wesley not only spoke the Truth, he lived it. My family and I have been blessed with Wesley in our lives and I thoroughly enjoyed working on his officials crew. Wesley loved the Lord and shared that love with everybody he came in contact. Rest In Peace my brother as you claim your ultimate victory in Christ our Lord!

I cherished the visits with Wesley while in hospice. We had chats about growing up in Hamburg and who was kin to who. Really fun talks. Met his daughter Laura from Indiana while 8 months pregnant on one of my visits. He really loved and doted on his family. Not many people could or would endure what Wesley went through. A great father, brother, and human being. He will be missed on this earth, but God has better plans. Rest now John Wesley Harville.
