The one thing they left out was just how wonderful of a man he was. I felt like he half raised me as a child and him building the tennis court is why I have been so successful today. I am so sorry for your loss but we know he is holding a meeting with God, Mr. Buddy, Mr. and Mrs. Atkins, Benji and the Albrittons as well as my mom and dad. He will be missed and never forgotten.

I am so sorry to hear of Gordon's passing!! I met him years ago in the car business & always a delight to visit with whenever we ran into each other!! He was one of my favorite car guys I met in my 39 years in the business!!! I know Gordon will be missed by many!! To his family, you are in our thoughts and prayers!!!

I am deeply saddened to hear that Mr. Gordon passed way. Please know that you will all be in my thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time. I was so very blessed to work with Mr. Gordon when he was the mayor. A wonderful man that this world has lost. A wasted life he did not allow. His time here on earth may be through, but I have no doubt that he isn't. He is only beginning to see and enjoy what God has prepared for him.

sincerely sad to hear about mr. Gordon. I was employed by him for several years, in his car dealerships. He was a man of honesty and integrity. I have said often that the man was straight with you. if you needed "getting on to", you got it. if he said a raise or whatever was coming your way, you knew it would be on the next paycheck. I soo admired the man for his outlook on life, and the many lessons he taught me about such. Rest in peace MR. GORDON!
