Dear Nancy - I am so saddened to hear this news. Sam was always, always so very supportive and kind hearted in everything he did and said. He was truly a wonderful gentleman. His passing will leave a void not only in ARS, but in all the local societies he touched also. My thoughts and prayers are with you all!

We are so sorry to hear that we have lost Sam. He and Nancy are so loved by everyone in the American Rose Society TENARKY District. It is hard to see how we can continue on without his love and guidance. We all loved him so much! He was a true inspiration to all of us and will be greatly missed.

Sam was such a wonderful person and I loved all his family before I knew Nancy. She is the perfect example of a gracious, loving and caring Southern lady and they had three children to inherit all their desirable traits. My love and prayers to all of them.
