Dorothy Tucker McCone

Dorothy Tucker McCone, 96, of Hamburg, died Sunday, April 24, 2016 at the Stonegate Villa Health and Rehabilitation Center in Crossett.  Mrs. McCone was a native of Hamburg and a resident of the Crossroad Community outside of Hamburg for most of her life.  She was a homemaker and a member of the North Crossett First Baptist Church.  She loved to sew and quilt and enjoyed working in her yard.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Oscar McCone in 1999; a grandson, Alan McCone in 2012; her parents, Douglas & Jessie Carnahan Tucker; four brothers, John D., Harry, Fred and Frank Tucker and two sisters, Beatrice Tucker and Corene Yeatman.

She is survived by two sons, Rusty McCone and wife, Cookie, and Mickey McCone and wife, June, all of Hamburg; five grandchildren, Robert McCone, Trent McCone, Kara Mixon, Jennifer Carter and Alicia Rasburry; 11 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are 2 p.m., Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at the North Crossett First Baptist Church with Rev. Robin Allen officiating.  Burial will be in the Crossroad Cemetery.  Pallbearers are Trent McCone, Robert McCone, Drake McCone, Michael Mixon, Aaron Rasburry and Danny Carter.  Memorials may be made to the North Crossett First Baptist Church, 1035 HWY 133 N., Crossett, AR 71635.  

Visitation will be 1 p.m. until service time, Tuesday at the church.
