Colleen Rayborn Robbins, 75, of Hamburg, died Saturday, April 30, 2016 at the Cornerstone Hospital in Little Rock. Mrs. Robbins was a native of Drew County and a resident of Hamburg for most of her life. She graduated from Hamburg High School in 1959 and she worked at the Hamburg Shirt Factory for 20 years. She was a member of the Grace Fellowship Church where she played the piano for a number of years and felt that it was a gift from God.
She is preceded in death by her son, Ronnie Robbins in 2012; a grandson, Joshua N. Wright and her parents, Walter and Viola Taylor Rayborn.
She is survived by a daughter, Debby Collier and husband, Billy; a sister, Barbara Jean Pennington all of Hamburg; a step-sister, Bettye Mae Anderson of Morrilton; two grandchildren, Corey Collier and wife, Lacy, of Crossett and Holly Collier Gray and husband, Drake, of Hamburg and three great-grandchildren, Caleigh Collier, Draylee Gray and Nevaeh Collier.
Funeral services are 2 p.m., Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at the Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Charles Miller and Bro. Michael Griffith officiating. Burial will be in the Carlock Cemetery. Pallbearers are Johnny Pierce, Boyd Kusterin, Earl Pollock, Greg Maxwell, Corey Collier and Drake Gray. Honorary pallbearers are Jay Barnes, Tyman Allison, Joe Hennington and the Hamburg High School Class of 1959. Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Monday at the funeral home.
