Zandra Hathaway Cheeseman, 76, of Henderson, Texas, died Thursday, July 24, 2025 at her residence. Mrs. Cheeseman was born November 4, 1948 in Hamburg, was a resident of Henderson, Texas for the past eight months, a former resident of Crossett for three years and West Monroe, Louisiana for over ten years. She was a 1966 graduate of Hamburg High School. Mrs. Cheeseman worked in the office for the Georgia-Pacific Corporation for many years and she attended Beech Street Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed staying up late watching movies, caring for her dogs, spending time with her grandchildren and cheering on the Arkansas Razorbacks. Above all, Mrs. Cheeseman was a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be remembered for the love she shared with her family.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Kyle Cheeseman in 2024; her parents, Otto and Pauline Roark Hathaway and her sister, Paula Hathaway Goyne.
She is survived by two sons, Kevin Morris and his wife, Toni, of Southaven, Mississippi and Michael Watkins and his wife, Kathy, of Henderson, Texas; six grandchildren, Justin Morris, Jessica Edwards, Kaylee Morris, Blaine Watkins, Aubrey Watkins and Paisley Watkins and one great-grandchild, Casey Morris.
A graveside service will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 29, 2025 in the Hamburg Cemetery with Bro. Donnie Dubose officiating. Honorary pallbearers are Justin Morris, Blaine Watkins, Steven Harriman, Corey Harriman, and Craig Harriman. Memorials may be made to the Beech Street Missionary Baptist Church, 500 Beech Street, Crossett, AR 71635.
