William "Bill" Cassity

William “Bill” Cassity, 83, of Hamburg, died Sunday, May 31, 2020 at his home.  Mr. Cassity was a native of Siloam Springs and a resident of Hamburg for the past 58 years.  He was a veteran of the United States Army, and he worked at the Leisure Lodge Nursing Home for many years. A member of the Grace Fellowship Church, Mr. Cassity was a daily Bible reader and had read his Bible through several times.  Mr. Cassity was an avid hunter and fisherman.  He loved animals and would rescue as many as possible.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Hazel Reynolds Cassity; three brothers, Dale Cassity, J.W. Cassity and Alvin Cassity, Sr. and a sister, Maybell Cassity.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Lennie Tomerlin Cassity of Hamburg; two sons, William Cassity, Jr. and wife, Barbara, of Crossett and Tim King of Hamburg; three daughters, Deborah Espino of Bell Buckle, Tennessee, Lisa Perry of Booth Bay Harbor, Maine and Kimberly King of Hamburg; a brother, Clive Cassity and wife, Janet, of Casa Grande, Arizona; 13 grandchildren 3 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
