Vickki Hagood, 73, of Hamburg, died Sunday, September 28, 2025, at the South Arkansas Regional Hospital in El Dorado. Mrs. Hagood was born June 28, 1952 in Lamar, Colorado and has been a resident of Hamburg for the past five years. She was a 1970 graduate of Rogers High School, and continued her education at the Indiana University, where she received her Bachelors in Education degree. Mrs. Hagood was a School Teacher until she retired in 2017. She was a proud member of Cox's Army at Southern State College and member of Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. Mrs. Hagood enjoyed cooking, collecting rooster figurines and anything John Deere, Harry Potter books and movies, watching Supernatural and she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Maxine Wright Zuniga.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Troy Hagood of Hamburg; three sons, Scott Hagood of Hamburg, John Hagood of Newport News, Virginia and Benjamin Hagood and his wife, Delina, of El Paso, Texas; a sister, Debbie Hall and her husband, Tommy, of Rogers; seven grandchildren, Hayden Hagood, Hunter Hagood, Maddox Hagood, Abbey Hagood, Gabriel Hagood, Brandon Hagood and Adam Hagood; a sister-in-law, Frances Meredith and her husband, Joey, of Hamburg; a brother-in-law, Allen Hagood and his wife, Mackie, of Bryant and a host of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, October 3, 2025, at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Joey Meredith and Bro. Allen Hagood officiating. Memorials may be made to Worldwide Literature and Missionary Supply, PO Box 128, Hamburg, AR 71646.
