Vickie Lynn Burch

Vickie Lynn Burch, 63, of Hamburg, went to walk the streets of gold on Thursday, January 20, 2022, at the Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo, Michigan.  Mrs. Burch was a native of Bastrop, Louisiana and a lifelong resident of Ashley County.  She attended Fountain Hill Schools, worked as a Secretary for the Georgia-Pacific Corporation for many years and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Crossett. Mrs. Burch enjoyed crafting, traveling, wagon riding, fishing, girls trip, and going to the beach.  A beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she especially loved keeping and spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by Henry and Lenora Cunningham, Mace Felchle, Patricia Gaylee Cunningham, Lorene Miles, Eloise McClain, Hoyt Cunningham, Fran Tucker and her beloved dog, Steele.

She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Eddie Wayne Burch of Hamburg; her children, Shawn Craig and wife, Rebecca, of Hamburg, Dusty Burch and Anna, of Benton and Shannon Craig of Hamburg; her family, Eddie Felchle, Sharon and Greg Worona, Stephen and Lisa Felchle, Lane Cunningham, Tommy and Roxie Burch, Debbie and Eugene Morris, Clara Burch and Terry Tucker; four grandchildren, Zach and Stephanie Craig, Toby McDougald, Isabel Craig and Asher Burch; four great-grandchildren, Canyon Craig, Sophie McDougald, Logan Watson and Waylon Watson and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral services are 2 p.m., Monday, January 24, 2022, at the Egypt Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Buddy Boykin and Bro. Eddie Felchle officiating. Burial will be in the Flat Creek Cemetery. Pallbearers are Frank Moffatt, Jason Burch, Jonathan Ezell, Greg Outlaw, Eddie Black, Johnny Ray Clark, Junior Jeffers, and Scott Boyte. Honorary pallbearers are Patti Roan, Candi Jerry, Loretta Duncan, Diane McClain, Patricia Thomas, Gail Jeffers, Sharon Jenkins, Nancy Meziere, Polly Clark and Chase Outlaw.   

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Sunday at the church.
