Timmy Craig, 62, of Hamburg, died Sunday, September 12, 2021. Mr. Craig was a native of Crossett and a lifelong resident of the Milo Community outside of Hamburg. He was a 1977 graduate of Fountain Hill High School and a construction worker at P.I.C. for 25 years. Mr. Craig was a member of the Mount Pleasant Free Will Baptist Church. An avid outdoorsman, he was a member of the W.W. Hunting Club and enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, and tending to his cows. He had a great sense of humor and was known to pick at people, only to make himself laugh harder than anyone else. He dearly loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 20 years, Gwen McCabe Craig in 2015; a grandson, Kyle Craig in 2005; a step-son, Joseph Adcock and his parents, Jerry & Shelma Holland Craig.
He is survived by his son, Casey Craig of Hamburg; a step-daughter, Brittany Adcock and husband, Ronnie, of Monticello; a step-son, Scott Chatman and husband, Rodger, of Mabelvale; his brother, Barry Craig and wife, Tina, of White Hall; his sister, Kim Bowden and husband, Mark, of Fountain Hill; his aunts, Karon Stanley of Greenhill, Reba Holland of Greenbriar and Sue Stanley and husband, Jerry, of Fountain Hill; six grandchildren, Case Craig, Myka Craig, Mac Craig, Braxton Carter, Blaine Adcock and McKinzie Adcock and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are 2 p.m., Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at the Mount Pleasant Free Will Baptist Church with Bro. Keith Boseman officiating. Burial will be in the Eden Cemetery. Pallbearers are Pat Allison, Terry Mason, Lane Culp, Danny Wade Rice, Tony Peebles and Neal Stanley. Honorary pallbearers are Mike Black, Donnie Baldwin and the Members of W.W. Hunting Club in Lacey. Visitation will be 1-2 p.m., Tuesday, at the church.
