Thomas B. Carpenter

Thomas B. Carpenter, 75, of Hamburg, died Sunday, August 19, 2018.  Mr. Carpenter was a native of Warren, a resident of Hamburg for the past 46 years and a former resident of Champaign, Illinois.  He worked for Ideal Construction Company for 40 years and was an avid squirrel hunter and fisherman.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Sandra Lange Carpenter in January of this year, an infant son, Brad Thomas Carpenter and his parents, William Bradford and Ruby Smith Carpenter.

He is survived by his children, Michelle Gouner and husband, Warren, of Crossett, Melinda Gwin and husband, Mickey, and Shawn Carpenter and wife, Shann, all of Hamburg; a sister, Ruth Hoover of Urbana, Illinois; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

A private graveside service will be held in the Flat Creek Cemetery with Bro. J.W. Dobbins officiating. Memorials may be made to the Ashley County Medical Center Foundation Board, PO Box 400, Crossett, AR  71635. 

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Monday at the funeral home.
