Sherry Katherine Guthrie

Sherry Katherine Guthrie, 61, of Crossett, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at her residence with the love of her life by her side. Mrs. Guthrie was born December 18, 1960, in Newton, Iowa, and had been a resident of Crossett for several years. She graduated from Newton Senior High School in Newton, Iowa, and went on to work as an Accountant. After having been together for 22 years, she was united in marriage to Don Lovett in 2010. Mrs. Guthrie enjoyed reading, crafting, flowers, and anything Harley Davidson and wolves. She was kind and generous and loved by all.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Lois Clark Guthrie; a sister, Sandy Collins in 2010; a brother, Steve Guthrie in 2020, three nephews, Rick Collins, Alex Taylor, and Bobby Lovett; two nieces, Ann Marie Harness and Brenda Newell and her dog, Shooter.

She is survived by those who honor her memory, her husband of 12 years, Don Lovett; a brother, Stan Guthrie and wife, Mary, of Clive, Iowa; her mother-in-law, Marie Taylor; two brothers-in-law, Jay Taylor and wife, Leah, and Gerald Taylor and wife, Michelle, all of Crossett; her sister-in-law, Lydia Walker and husband, Tony, of Rayville, Louisiana and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
