Russell R. “Rusty” Harville, 62, of Hamburg, died Tuesday, October 4, 2022, in Hamburg. Mr. Harville was a native of Crossett, a former resident of Blytheville for seven years, and a resident of Hamburg for most of his life. After he graduated in 1978 from Hamburg High School, he began his career as a construction worker. Mr. Harville was a member of the First Baptist Church, and he enjoyed fishing, “tinkering,” and collecting antiques.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Linda K. Harville in 2020; his father, Kenneth Harville in 1991; his maternal grandparents, Norwood and Carrie Courson Hill and his paternal grandparents, Hunter and Maxine Harville.
He is survived by a son, Shane Harville and wife, Ashlynn, of Manila; a daughter, Amber Sunshine of Corpus Christi, Texas; his sister, DeeDee Smith and husband, Tim, of Hamburg; three uncles, Mike Harville and wife, Beverly, of Conway, Royce Harville and wife, Marjorie, of Crossett and Jimmy Lloyd and wife, Wanda, of Dierks; four grandchildren; two nephews, Josh Pierce and wife, Maggie, of Maumelle and Matthew Smith and wife, Jennifer, and a great-nephew, Sutton Smith, all of Hamburg.
Graveside services are 10 a.m., Thursday, October 6, 2022, in Pinewood Memorial Park with Bro. Mike Harville officiating. Memorials may be made to Promise Land Missionary Baptist Church, 765 Ashley Road 70, Hamburg, AR 71646.
