Roy H. Rotton

Roy H. Rotton, 66, of Portland, died Thursday, March 4, 2021, in Greenville, Mississippi.  Mr. Rotton was a native of Lake Village and a resident of Portland for most of his life. A 1972 graduate of Portland High School, he served in the Arkansas National Guard and was a retired farmer.  Mr. Rotton was a member of the Aulds Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by a daughter, Angela Elaine Rotton in 1984 and his father, Curtis Morrell Rotton, Sr., in 2013.

He is survived by his fiancée, Teresa Lawson of Portland; a son, Chris Rotton and wife, Hillary, of Fayetteville; a step-son, Matt Lawson and wife, Tina, of Lake Village; a step-daughter, Tabitha Ellis and husband, Brad, of Monticello; his mother, Hazel Mosby Rotton of Portland; two brothers, Curtis Ray Rotton and wife, Linda, of Lake Village and Joel Rotton and wife, Shirley, of Parkdale; a sister, Cathy Williamson and husband, Dewel, of Hamburg; seven grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services are 2 p.m., Sunday, March 7, 2021, in the Portland Cemetery with Bro. Larry Donaldson officiating.  Honorary pallbearers are L.D. Prescott, Tommy Frazer, Jerad Selby, Richard Murdaugh, Gage Windham and Lonnie Johnson.
