Rosemary Grant Holland, 95, of Crossett, passed away peacefully in the company of her daughter, Marilyn, on Tuesday, December 7, 2021. She was a native and lifelong resident of Crossett. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she loved yard work and made delicious chocolate pies. Mrs. Holland was a member of the First Baptist Church for over 70 years and loved to serve as Class Minister, where she sent cards to many friends and loved ones.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 73 years, Bill Gene Holland in 2015; her parents, William Travis & Pearl Ferguson Grant; three brothers, Fay Grant, Harry Grant and Billy Ned Grant and two sisters, Charlene Grant and Frances Grant.
She is survived by two daughters, Marilyn Harney and husband, Bill, of Crossett and Janis Moyer and husband, Nelson, of Iowa City, Iowa; four grandchildren, Dr. Justin Harney and wife, Hannah, and their children, Isla and Eden of Bauxite, Sarah Hanlyn and husband, Andrew, of Conway, Dr. Trent Moyer and his children, Ella and Camden of San Diego, California and Tracy Moyer and her family of Iowa City, Iowa.
Graveside services are 2 p.m., Monday, December 13, 2021 in Pinewood Memorial Park Cemetery with Bro. Jamie Staley officiating. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church, 701 Main Street, Crossett, AR 71635.
