Richard Ambria "Ricky" Williams, 59, of Crossett, died Thursday, December 25, 2025 at the Ashley County Medical Center in Crossett. Mr. Williams was born September 17, 1966 in Monroe, Louisiana and was a lifelong resident of Crossett. He graduated from Crossett High School in 1984. Mr. Williams was a member of the South Main Baptist Church where he was a Deacon and a member of the Larry Kings Sunday School Class. Mr. Williams was a Residential Contractor for 42 years and a member of a very elite club of coffee drinkers. He loved his family, especially his grandson Houston and took great joy in teaching him everything about hunting and fishing.
He is preceded in death by his father, Ambria Roger Williams in 2024 and his father-in-law, Houston Davidson.
He is survived by his wife of 40 1/2 years, Sharon Kay Davidson Williams of Crossett; two daughters, Sara Moffatt and her husband, Scott, of Milo and Kayley Harris and her husband, Ron, of Crossett and their big sister, Nicole Williams and her wife, Tara, of Crossett, their brother, Drew Williams and his wife, Shanae, of Poplarville, Mississippi and their little sister, Mary Kate Armstrong of Memphis, Tennessee; his mother, Charlotte Hyle Williams; a brother, Chuck Williams and his wife, Jennifer; a sister, Jennifer Jordan and her husband, Marty, all of Crossett; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Mary and George Robinson of Baskin, Louisiana; three grandchildren, Dawson Harris and his wife, Taylor, of Crossett, Houston Moffatt of Milo and Noah Harris of Bastrop, Louisiana; three great-grandchildren, Seylor, Abel and Blakellie Rose; his sisters-in-law and many, many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are 2 p.m., Monday, December 29, 2025 at the South Main Baptist Church with Bro. Brad Savage and Bro. Buddy Kinney officiating. Burial will be in the Hickory Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers are Albert Mills, Craig Pennington, Eric Smith, Byron Jackson, Gary Booker, Drew Williams, Jeff Harrison and Brian Martin. Honorary pallbearers are Roddy Goodwin, Dr. Mike "Doc" McDaniels, Jerry "Catfish" Ray, Campbell "Teck" Wilkerson, Leon Gifford, Freddy "Niblet" McKinnley and Shirley "Cougar" Goodwin.
Visitation will be 6 - 8 p.m., Sunday, at the church.
