She is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Tommy Thompson, Sr., in 2024; a grandson, Michael Thompson in 2020; her parents, Brister Claude and Helen Tucker Forrest; a sister, Shirley Forrest Jeffers and four brothers, Clovis Forrest, Bobby Forrest, Johnny Forrest and Joe Forrest.
She is survived by a daughter, Betty Farmer and her husband, David; a son, Tommy Royce Thompson, Jr., all of Hamburg; two grandsons, Joseph Farmer and his wife, Suzanne, of Tahlequah, Oklahoma and Daniel Farmer of Eudora and her nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 22, 2025, in the Chapel of Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home with Bro. Joey Meredith officiating. A private burial will be in the Judson Cemetery.
