Paula Esquivel Yanez

Paula Esquivel Yanez, 63, of Montrose, died Monday, August 3, 2020 in Pine Bluff.  Mrs. Yanez was a native of Jalpan Queretro, Mexico and a resident of Montrose for the past 20 years.  She was a homemaker and a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Lake Village.

She is preceded in death by her father, Jose Esquivel.

She is survived by her husband of 39 years. Emelio Yanez of Montrose; three sons, Emelio Yanez, Jr. of Boydell, Gustavo Yanez of Snyder and Mateo Yanez of Mexico; her mother, Susana Esquivel of Mexico; four brothers, Ignacio Esquivel of Snyder, Cathalino Esquivel, Pablo Esquivel and Cliofas Esquivel; a sister, Lazara Hernandez all of Mexico and nine grandchildren.

Graveside services are 10 a.m., Thursday, August 6, 2020 in the Hamburg Cemetery with Father Stephen Hart as celebrant.
