Patsy Sledge Curran

Patsy Sledge Curran, 74, of Crossett, died Saturday, October 31, 2020.  Mrs. Curran was a native of Isola, Mississippi and a resident of Crossett for the past 58 years.  She was a homemaker and an active member of the Cloverdale Assembly of God Church, where she taught the adult Sunday School class and was active in the Women’s Ministry.  She enjoyed hunting and being in the outdoors with her husband.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Sam Curran in June of this year; a son, Kevin Curran in 2011; her parents, Jasper David & Bonnie Lee Myers Sledge and three sisters, Hazel Strickland, Ollie Faye Berdeaux and JoAnn Aguillard.

She is survived by her son, Keith Curran and wife, Rhonda, of Tampa, Florida; her daughter, Darlene Jackson and husband, Walter; her daughter-in-law, Belinda Greene Curran, all of Crossett; two sisters, Nancy Brown Wallace and husband, Marvin, of Crossett and Linda Harrison of Columbus, Georgia; five grandchildren, Josh Curran and wife, Laura, Cole Curran and wife, Megan, Cheyenne White, Dustin Curran and wife, Auna, and Slade Curran; four great-grandchildren, Jackson Curran, Tessa Curran, Aleigha Miller and Rai`Lynn Curran and a host of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services are 2 p.m., Wednesday, November 4, 2020, at the Carlock Cemetery with Bro. David Williams officiating.  Pallbearers are Josh Curran, Cole Curran, Dustin Curran, Slade Curran, D.J. Bussell and Ronnie McDonald.  Honorary pallbearers are Charles Berryman, Kenneth Knight, Carlton Maxwell, Doug Piker and Bryan Bolin.

Visitation will be 1:30 -2 p.m., Wednesday at the cemetery.
