Patricia D. Martin, 61, of Hamburg, died Tuesday, November 9, 2021, at her daughter’s residence in Warren. Mrs. Martin was a native and former resident of Crossett and a resident of Hamburg for the past 32 years. She graduated from Crossett High School in 1979 and in 1986 she graduated from Forrest Echoes Vocational Technical School as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Mrs. Martin worked for Beverly Healthcare (Leisure Lodge) in Hamburg and Crossett as an LPN for over 25 years. She was a member of the Calvary Missionary Baptist Church where she often played the piano. Although she enjoyed reading and sewing, she loved to spend time with her grandbabies.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Jimmy G. “Jimbo” Martin in 2018; her parents, Bro. Roy G. & Edith Mae Willis Craig; three brothers, David Craig, Keith Craig and John Paul Craig and her mother-in-law, Ruth C. Martin in September of this year.
She is survived by a son, Steven Martin and wife, Christi, of Hamburg; two daughters, Janet Martin of Hamburg and Shelly Baker and husband, Joshua, of Warren; five grandchildren, William, Jessica, R.J., Karlie and Maggie and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members.
Funeral services are 2 p.m., Thursday, November 11, 2021, in the Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Richard West and Bro. Clayton Hales officiating. Burial will be in the Judson Cemetery. Pallbearers are Brian Leigh, Jason Craig, Jarred Martin, Chance Martin, Joshua Baker and Dennis Cox. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.
