Patricia Ann Pilgrim Knight

Patricia Ann Pilgrim Knight, 74, of Hamburg, died Friday, October 18, 2024, at her residence. Mrs. Knight was born November 5, 1949 in Pine Bluff, a lifelong resident of the Milo Community outside of Hamburg and a 1967 graduate of Fountain Hill High School. She was a wonderful homemaker, a seamstress at the Hamburg Shirt Factory and a substitute teacher for several years. Mrs. Knight was a member of the Fountain Hill First Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading, quilting and most of all, fishing on the Mississippi River. Mrs. Knight was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Johnny Gale Knight in 2021; a daughter-in-law, Sheena Whitaker Knight in 2020; her father, Albert Wilson Pilgrim and her father and mother-in-law, John McCoy and Helen Rudolph Amos Knight.

She is survived by two sons, Chris Knight and wife, Lelia, of Fountain Hill and Shelby Knight and wife, Kandice, of Hamburg; her mother, Marcile Cunningham Hill of Hamburg; two sisters, Nadine Velasquez and husband, Mike, of Hamburg and Shirley Webber and husband, Bill, of Pine Bluff; two brothers, Tommy Pilgrim and wife, Teresa, of Hamburg and Jerry Pilgrim of Ward; eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family would like to say a special "Thank You" to Sam Amos Swan, Jeanna Knight Lineberger, Tammy Knight and Glenda Woods for all of their love, help and the care they gave to Mrs. Knight.

Funeral services are 2 p.m., Monday, October 21, 2024, at the Fountain Hill First Baptist Church with Bro. Buddy Boykin officiating. Burial will be in the Egypt Cemetery. Pallbearers are Roger Chavis, Dale Chavis, Tommy Pilgrim, Jerry Pilgrim, Mike Velasquez and Steve Cunningham. Honorary pallbearers are her Fountain Hill High School Class of 1967 classmates. Memorials may be made to the Prairie Benefit Trail Ride, c/o Janice Lloyd, 1051 Goose Hollow Road, Hamburg, AR  71646. 

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home.
