Pat Lochala, 90, of Crossett, died Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at Pam’s Golden Years Assisted Living in Hamburg. Mrs. Lochala was a native and resident of Crossett for most of her life and a 1949 graduate of Crossett High School. She worked as a store clerk for Triggs Department Store, Hudgens Drug Store in Crossett, and Shanebergs Department Store in Monroe, Louisiana. She worked as a bookkeeper for Vicksburg Flour Mill for two years and the East Mississippi Oil Company in Columbus, Mississippi for 15 years. She was a member of the North Crossett First Baptist Church and she enjoyed working in her yard, tending to her flowers, and crocheting. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Billy L. Lochala in 2006; a daughter, Kay Parker in 2018; a great-grandson, Billy Parker in 2021; her parents, Johnny and Lillian Jones Aiken; a sister, Dorothy “Dot” Nell Carpenter and two brothers, Jackie Aiken and Bobby Joe Aiken.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth W. Lochala of Panama City, Florida; five grandchildren, Chris Parker of Hamburg, Scott Parker of Crossett, John Spruil of Sevierville, Tennessee, Aja Lochala of Panama City, Florida and Heather Sims of Sevierville, Tennessee and eight great-grandchildren, Shawney Milum, Courtney Allbritton, Adalyn Lochala, Jordan Parker, Laina Shew, Taylor Sims, Madison Sims, and Wyatt Sims.
Graveside services are 10 a.m., Monday, January 10, 2022, in the Crossroads Cemetery with Tommy Rawls officiating.
Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Sunday at the funeral home.
