Naomie "Eunice" Pruitt Dailey, 93, of Crossett, died Friday, July 25, 2025, at the Ashley County Medical Center in Crossett. Mrs. Dailey was born May 4, 1932 in Ashley County, was a resident of Crossett for the past year, a former resident of Hamburg for eight years and a resident of Wilmot for most of her life. She was a faithful member of the Southside Baptist Church. Mrs. Dailey worked for the Wilmot Schools as a bus driver and cafeteria worker for many years and as an Aid for the Wilmot Nursing Home for several years. Her greatest joy was being a full time Mother, Mamaw, Great-Grandma and Great-Great-Grandma. Mrs. Dailey enjoyed fishing, gardening, canning and tending to her many flowers. She loved taking care of her family and reminiscing with her children and grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John Howard Dailey in 1984; a daughter, Patricia Ann Dailey in 1985; her parents, William Earl and Nancy Elizabeth Pack Pruitt; three brothers, James Edward Pruitt, Leon Pruitt and Norman Ray Pruitt and three sisters, Marie Fortune, Oma Mae Swopes and Vaunda Jean McKoin.
She is survived by her son, John Allen Dailey and his wife, Wendy, of Hamburg; a brother, Royce Pruitt of Crossett; five grandchildren, Teresa West, Tori Hamrick, David Leveritt, Kim Reep and Tiffany Wilson; nine great-grandchildren, Beth Hall, Jacob Yount, Desiree Yount, Ashley Hamrick, Jaylon Johnson, Logan Johnson, Kenslie Johnson, John Parker Wilson and Cooper Wilson; multiple great-great-grandchildren; special friends, Darlene Skender of Crossett and Tana Vail of Hamburg and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are 10 a.m., Monday, July 28, 2025, at the Southside Baptist Church with Bro. David Newberry officiating. Burial will be in the Wilmot Cemetery. Pallbearers are John Allen Dailey, Tiffany Wilson, Jaylon Johnson, Logan Johnson, Cooper Wilson, John Parker Wilson, David Pruitt, Jacob Pruitt, and Hanson Hamrick, Jr..
