Mildred Burch Hartley, 83, of Hamburg, died Thursday, August 5, 2021 in Little Rock. Mrs. Hartley was a native of Drew County and a resident of the Milo Community, outside of Hamburg, for many years. She was a Loan Officer at First National Bank in Crossett, having retired in 2001 after over 20 years of service. She really enjoyed working at the bank and loved every one of her customers. Mrs. Hartley was a member of the Egypt Missionary Baptist Church and in her spare time, she enjoyed cooking, sewing and crocheting. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by a son, David Hartley in 1994; a great-granddaughter, Amiracle Hartley Tyson in 2016; her parents, Charlie Edward & Zadie Bell Murphy Burch and a brother Wayne Burch in 2007.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Kenneth Hartley of Hamburg; two sons, Kenny Hartley of Hamburg and Mark Hartley of York, Nebraska; a sister, Jerline McCarty and husband, Leo, of Possum Valley; 9 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are 2 p.m., Sunday, August 8, 2021, at Egypt Missionary Baptist Church with Mark Hartley officiating. Burial will be in the Egypt Cemetery. Pallbearers are Chris Choate, Adam Choate, Tony Craig, Chase Outlaw, Greg Outlaw and Mike Hartley.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home.
