Michael Aaron Thompson, 29, of Hamburg, died Wednesday, October 21, 2020, at his residence. Michael was a native and lifelong resident of Hamburg and a 2009 graduate of Hamburg High School. Michael attended the Houston Technical Institute and worked as an Automobile Mechanic. He was a member of the Promise Land Missionary Baptist Church. Michael was an avid outdoorsman and cherished his friends and loved each one of them.
He is survived by his wife, Miranda Walters Thompson; his son, Joyner Thompson, that he loved very much; his father, Tommy R. Thompson, Jr. all of Hamburg; his mother, Annamarie Breedlove Stanton and her husband, Paul, of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; a half-sister, Heather Newton of Lancaster, Ohio; three half-brothers, Jared Stanton of Lancaster, Ohio, Alex Jedynak and Justin Stanton both of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; his grandparents, Tommy & Becky Thompson and Tommy & Theresa Breedlove all of Hamburg; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Glen and Margaret Pamplin of Hamburg and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
The family will have a memorial service at a later date.
