Melissa "Micki" Stanley

Melissa ”Micki” Stanley, 56, of Hamburg, died Friday, April 8, 2022, at Audry’s Special Home in Hamburg.  Mrs. Stanley was a lifelong resident of Hamburg and a 1983 graduate of Hamburg High School.  She was a homemaker and had worked as a Custodian for the Ashley County Courthouse for several years.  Mrs. Stanley was a member of Gardner Baptist Church.  She was a movie buff and enjoyed arts and crafts. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, keeping her grandson, Elliot, taking care of her mother and her fur babies, especially her dog Lola.

She is preceded in death by her father, Jerry Lee Stanley in 2013 and a sister, Sonya Lee Meeks in March of this year.

She is survived by two sons, Michael Don Irons and Thomas Brandon Knight both of Crossett; her mother, Mary Ann Stafford Stanley of Hamburg; a sister, Stacey Pool and husband, John, of Crossett; a brother, Mark Stanley (Susan Jeffers) of Hamburg; seven grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Sunday, April 10, 2022, in the Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home Chapel. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
