Mary Susan Harrison

Mary Susan Harrison, 71, of Hamburg, died Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at the Chapel Woods Health and Rehabilitation Center in Warren. Mrs. Harrison was born May 10, 1954 in Paragould, a 1973 graduate of Eudora High School and a resident of Hamburg for most of her life. She was a hard and dedicated worker and was a cook at Sawyers until she retired in 2016. Mrs. Harrison was known for making the best pies in Ashley County.

She is preceded in death by a grandson, Chase Allen Harrison in 2023; her parents, John Lynn and Estelle Grayum Moyer and a sister, Debbie Grubb.

She is survived by her daughter, Stacy Riley and her husband, Kevin, of Fountain Hill; three sons, Danny Harrison and his wife, Laurie, of Sherwood, John Harrison of Vilonia and Christopher Harrison and his wife, Valerie, of Marshall; four brothers, Jimmy Moyer of Kilbourne, Louisiana, Ronnie Moyer and his wife, Regina, of Lake Village, Kenneth Moyer and his wife, Pearlene, and Dennis Moyer and his wife, JoAnn, all of Caraway; three sisters, Carolyn Mooney of Hamburg, Janie Duckworth and her husband, Ray, of Eudora and Sherry Hayes and her husband, Rusty, of Oak Grove, Louisiana; eight grandchildren, Jada Riley, Kane Riley, Lily Harrison, Destiny Harrison, Morgan Harrison, Jordan Ringler, Damian Harrison and John Phillip Harrison; three great-grandchildren, Saint, Bubba and Saxton Miller and a host of nieces and nephews.
