Mary Scopas Vestal, 76, of Hamburg, died Wednesday, December 16, 2020 in Monticello. Mrs. Vestal was a native of Detroit, Michigan and a resident of Hamburg for the past 44 years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Greek Orthodox Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Claude Reed Vestal in 1991; her parents, James and Lola Kachiroubus Scopas and a sister, Elaine Scopas.
She is survived by a son, Nick Chenos and wife, Susan, of Hamburg; a daughter, Tracie Jo Pamplin and husband, Johnny, of Nashville, Arkansas; a sister, Georgia Papas and husband, Tasos, of California; five grandchildren, Jeffery Chenos, Dustin Vestal and wife Marla, Kelly Matthews and husband, Jesse, Tyler Conner and wife, Sarah, and Kassidy Smith and husband, Draylon; six great-grandchildren, J.C. Chenos, Lucas Matthews, Jake Conner, Maddox Matthews, Rhett Conner and Kaison Conner and one niece and one nephew.
Graveside services are 10 a.m., Friday, December 18, 2020, in the Flat Creek Cemetery with Bro. Josh Luellen officiating.
Visitation will be 9:45 – 10 a.m. Friday at the cemetery.
