Mary J. Gee Obituary

Mary J. Gee, 84, of Hamburg, died Monday, June 8, 2020, at her home.  Mrs. Gee was a native of Gillett and a resident of Hamburg for the past 64 years.  She was a member of the Hamburg First United Pentecostal Church and would never miss the opportunity to share her faith with anyone. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking. Family was very important to her and she enjoyed family get-to-gethers and spending time with them.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Jackson Basil Gee in 2005 and her parents, John Hubert & Helen Annie Mae Peters Branstetter.

She is survived by two sons, Troy Allen Gee and Jack Edward Gee and wife, Renee all of Hamburg; a daughter, Donna Lynn Pruitt and husband, Charles, of Vilonia; two brothers, John Branstetter of Texas City, Texas and Ted Branstetter of Memphis, Tennesse; 8 grandchildren, Chris Gee and wife, Katie, Cliff Gee and wife, Betsy, Clint Gee and wife, Mandy, Melissa Gee Curry and husband, Chad, Roxanne Gee Branch and husband, Mark, Miranda Pruitt Ham and husband, Bruce, Bryan E. Pruitt and wife, Erica and Andrea Lynn Pruitt; 16 great-grandchildren, Remmington Gee, Olivia Gee, Grayson Gee, Jackson Gee, Sarah Beth Gee, Lane Gee, Anna Carrie Gee, Kyla Curry, Bristol Curry who will be here in August, Gage Branch, Gatlyn Branch, Natalie Ham, Caden Ham, Hunter Pruitt, Fisher Pruitt, and Trapper Pruitt and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services are 10 a.m., Thursday, June 11, 2020, in the Cleveland Cemetery with Bro. Charles Pruitt, Bro. Bryan Pruitt and Bro. Randy Russell officiating. Honorary pallbearers are Chris Gee, Cliff Gee, Clint Gee, Chad Curry, Mark Branch, Luke Gee, Jacob Gee, Brian Skender and Bruce Ham.  Memorials may be made to the Hamburg First United Pentecostal Church, PO Box 309, Hamburg, AR  71646. 

Visitation will be 9:45 – 10 a.m., Thursday at the Cemetery.
