Obituary

Mark Leslie McDougald, 51, of Fountain Hill, died Monday, November 14, 2022, in Little Rock. Mr. McDougald was a lifelong resident of Fountain Hill and a 1989 graduate of Fountain Hill High School. He was a cutting machine operator in the logging industry for many years. Mr. McDougald enjoyed riding horses, roping, running dogs, and hunting. He loved spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Roger and Patsy Noble McDougald, a brother, Alan McDougald in 2017 and a nephew, Brent Alan McDougald in 2008.

He is survived by a son, Toby McDougald (Danielle Ross) of Hamburg; a brother, Steven McDougald of Fountain Hill; three grandchildren, Sophie McDougald, Cambree Ross, and Chole Ross; two nieces, Jana Myers and husband, Jarrett, of Hamburg and Tabitha Freeman of Crossett; a nephew, Justin McDougald of Hamburg and a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.

Graveside services are 10 a.m., Thursday, November 17, 2022, in the Flat Creek Cemetery with Rev. Robin Allen officiating. Honorary pallbearers are Toby McDougald, Justin McDougald, Jason McDougald, Jarrett Myers, Robert Bowden, John Pearson, Buddy Clavet, Craig Bowden, and Kevin Riley.
