Marjorie Louise Clark Harville, 83, of Crossett, passed away peacefully, Sunday, December 29, 2024 at the Countryside Assisted Living Center in Hamburg. Mrs. Harville was born in Crossett on September 29, 1941, was a lifelong resident of Crossett and a 1959 graduate of Crossett High School. Since 1961, she was a faithful member of the Mt. Olive Baptist Church, where she taught Children's Sunday School, Bible School and sang in the church choir. Her love of the Lord was evident in everything she did.
She is preceded in death by an infant daughter, her parents, Huey and Laura Murphy Clark and a brother, Huey D. Clark.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Royce E. Harville of Crossett; two sons, Brad Harville and wife, Barbi, of Greenbrier and Jeffrey Harville and wife, Monica, of Lumberton, Texas; her sister, Wanda Doyle of Conway; five grandchildren, Matthew Harville, Carrie Jo Matthews and husband, AJ, Brittney Volk, Zachery Harville and Miranda Harville and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 1, 2025 at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church with Bro. Doug Hibbard and Brad Harville officiating. Burial will be in the Crossroads Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers are the Deacons and Members of her Sunday School Class at Mt. Olive Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 1533 HWY 52 W., Crossett, AR 71635.
Visitation will be 1-2 p.m., Wednesday at the church.
