Louise Yelvington Huffstetler

Louise Yelvington Huffstetler, 91, of Oak Grove, Louisiana, died Tuesday, March 24, 2020.  Mrs. Huffstetler was a native of Fountain Hill, a resident of Oak Grove, Louisiana for the past 15 years and a former resident of Little Rock and Eudora.  She was a homemaker and a retired sales clerk.  Mrs. Huffstetler was a member of the Eudora Baptist Church.  Family was very important to her and she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Bonner Huffstetler in 1983; two sons, Dannie Deloss Huffstetler in 1960 and Robert Charles Huffstetler in 2006; a daughter, Betty Blanton in 2011; a grandson, Todd Kellebrew; her parents, George “Dan” & Mary Frances Moore Yelvington; a sister, Elsie Yelvington Deal; a brother, Leland Yelvington and a son-in-law, Wayne McDaniel.

She is survived by two daughters, Kathy McDaniel of Oak Grove, Louisiana and Judith Kellebrew and husband, Bobby, of Greenville, Mississippi; two sons, Cliffton Huffstetler and wife, Kathy, of Sedona, Arizona and Greg Huffstetler and wife, Martha, of Bartlett, Tennessee; six grandchildren, Scott Huffstetler, Nicole Huffstetler, Jacob Huffstetler, Ashley Huffstetler, Judith Roberts and Bryce Kellebrew and nine great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.  A private burial was in the Mount Carmel Cemetery in Eudora. Memorials may be made to the Eudora Baptist Church, 339 S. Archer Street, Eudora, AR  71640.
