Obituary

Lois Linares, 83, of Hamburg, died Friday, September 9, 2022, at the Cornerstone Specialty Hospital in West Monroe, Louisiana. Mrs. Linares was a native of Chase, Louisiana; a resident of Hamburg for the past 35 years; a former resident of Lindsay, California for many years, and a resident of the Pillars of Crossett, where she enjoyed attending church services. Mrs. Linares loved spending time with her family, doing yard work, and tending to her flowers.

She is preceded in death by a grandson, Rusty Savage in 2014; her parents, John Roy and Grace Crowley Newman and four sisters, Lola Gambo, Lela Richardson, Louise Card, and Luella Newman.

She is survived by four sons, Boyd Savage and wife, Gina, of Rison, Bobby Savage and Rocky Savage and wife, Tina, all of Hamburg and Rusty Linares and wife, Amy, of Columbia, Louisiana; four sisters, Leola Castleman and Lynn Foster, both of Mobile, Alabama, LouAnn James of Wilmer, Alabama and Lorraine Wrinkle and husband, Richard, of Pine Bluff; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, her best friend, Joyce Smith and a host of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services are 2 p.m., Monday, September 12, 2022, in the Flat Creek Cemetery with Bro. Boyd Savage officiating.
