Linda Sue Corder Russell

Linda Sue Corder Russell, 77, of El Dorado, died Friday, January 14, 2022, at the Magnolia Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Russell was a native and former resident of Portland, a former resident of Monroe, Louisiana for 30 years and a resident of El Dorado since 1998.  A 1962 graduate of Portland High School, she worked as an Administrative Assistant/Office Manager for Monroe Computer Service for over 30 years and STR Enterprises for several years.  She was essential in helping her son start his own business Finishing Touch Salon in El Dorado, which has been in operation for over 25 years.  Mrs. Russell enjoyed playing poker in Hills Poker Tournaments and listening to live music.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Clifford E. and Carrie Woods Corder; a sister, Dell Corder Tucker; a brother, Charles Wayne Corder and two infant brothers.

She is survived by her son, Toby Russell and wife, Tamera, of El Dorado; two nieces, Kim Tucker Pounds and husband, Mark, of Lake Village and Lisa Corder White of Shreveport, Louisiana; a nephew, Chuck Corder of Shreveport, Louisiana, a granddaughter, Kassidy Johnson and two step-grandchildren, Holly LaCaze and Jeremy Downing.

Graveside services are 2 p.m., Saturday, January 22, 2022, in the Snyder Cemetery with Bro. Richard West officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Union County Animal Protection Society (UCAPS) PO Box 204, El Dorado, AR  71730.
