Lexie Bozeman Estelle, 84, of Hamburg, died Saturday, May 24, 2025, at the Nightingale at Stonegate Health and Rehabilitation Center in Crossett. Mrs. Estelle was born April 19, 1941 in Ashley County, was a lifelong resident of Hamburg and a faithful member of the Mount Pleasant Free Will Baptist Church. Mrs. Estelle worked as a Supervisor at the Hamburg Shirt Factory for 19 years and after it closed, she worked as a Machine Operator for the BEMIS Bag Company for 19 years. Mrs. Estelle enjoyed reading, gardening and painting and she loved spending time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her husbands, Lon C. Bozeman in 2002 and Julian Estelle in 2021; her daughter, Connie Clark in 2021; her parents, Cecil and Abbie Stanley Rice; four sisters, Gladys Martin, Dixie Bays, Julia Jenkins and Verlee Jenkins and three brothers, Charles Fay Rice, Tracey Rice and Thomas Rice.
She is survived by her granddaughter, Marissa Clark of Sheridan; a son-in-law, Leo Clark of Redfield; a special niece, Cindy Martin Yates of Hamburg and a host of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services are 10 a.m., Thursday, May 29, 2025, at the Promise Land Cemetery Pavilion with Bro. Keith Boseman officiating. Honorary pallbearers are Johnny Martin, Bobby Martin, Clayton McGilton, C.J. McGilton, Frankie Martin, Haskell Carpenter and Bobby Wright. Memorials may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation, South Central Chapter, 1350 Bway, 16th Floor, New York, New York, 10018.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.
