Leonard Kelley, 72, of Hamburg, died Saturday, December 5, 2020, in Crossett. Mr. Kelley was a native and lifelong resident of Hamburg and a graduate of the Little Rock School for the Deaf. Mr. Kelley was a member of the Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed going to the Hamburg Senior Citizen’s Center, working with leather, leather crafts, and puzzles. He liked to take care of his chickens, and when his health permitted, he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Doris Nelson Kelley; seven brothers, Everett Eugene Kelley, Bobby Kelley, Ronnie Kelley, Leroy Kelley, Jack Kelley, Nelson Bartley Kelley, and Michael Kelley.
He is survived by three brothers, Doyle Kelley and wife, Frances, of Hamburg, Henry Kelley and wife, Karen, of Valdosta, Georgia and Clarence Kelley of Hamburg; a sister, Ilene Hollis of Hamburg and a host of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services are 2 p.m., Monday, December 7, 2020, in the Flat Creek Cemetery with Bro. Richard West officiating. Honorary pallbearers are Jesse Kelley, Patrick Kelley, Andrew Kelley, Colton Dye, Jason Kelley and Matthew Nason.
Visitation will be 1:45 – 2 p.m. Monday at the cemetery.
