Leo Grady Williams, 88, of Hamburg, died Thursday, March 13, 2025, at his residence. Mr. Williams was born July 3, 1936 in Lake Village, was a former resident of Crossett and a resident of Hamburg for many years. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Williams worked as a farm hand, was a certified welder, and a machine operator for the Georgia-Pacific Corporation Plywood Mill, having retired in 1994. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and loved visiting with his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by a son, Jason Williams; two daughters, Annette Green and Debra Williams; his parents, Grady Ambria and Ella Morley Williams; three sisters, Marie Goodrum, Jewel Dene Sylvest and Ina Menninger and two brothers, John Williams and Roger Williams.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Patsy Brown Williams of Hamburg; a son, Grady Leo "Bo" Williams of Crossett; two daughters, Priscilla Bates and husband, Jimmy, of Watson and Sherry Williams of Prescott; two step-daughters, Melinda Wilcox Ferguson and Penny Wilcox Murphy; a step-son, Gordon Wilcox and wife, Brandy, all of Crossett; 18 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services are 2 p.m., Monday, March 17, 2025, at the Carlock Cemetery with Tommy Boles officiating.
Visitation will be 1:30-2 p.m., Monday at the cemetery.
