Larry Dale Craig

Larry Dale Craig, 80, peacefully passed away on Monday, June 24, 2024, with his daughters by his side at his home in Oxford, Florida. Mr. Craig was a native of Hamburg, a resident of Panama City and Pensacola, Florida for most of his life and in 2012, he retired to Lake Village.  After he graduated from Hamburg High School in 1961, he began his working career at the age of 17 with an early interest in the paper mill industry.  He quickly moved his way up the ladder and for over 25 years, he worked for BE&K, Inc. Global Engineering as a Project Manager on jobs throughout the United States and various countries in Europe.  Mr. Craig enjoyed boating, fishing and carpentry but he especially took great pride in working on his hot rod cars and trucks.

He is preceded in death by a son, Chad Craig; his parents, Bennie and Stella Stanley Craig; a brother, Bobby Craig and a brother-in-law, Dennie Jenkins.

He is survived by a son, Chase Craig; two daughters, Tamara Brown and husband, Eric, and Taronza Foster all of Oxford, Florida; a sister, Sybil Jenkins of Hamburg; four grandchildren, Elijah Craig, Camren Turner, Shea Turner and Colton Craig and a host of nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services are 2 p.m, Sunday, June 30, 2024 in the Egypt Cemetery with Jake Jenkins officiating.
