Kyle Henry Ricks Obituary

Kyle Henry Ricks, 33, of Crossett, died Monday, June 29, 2026 in Minden, Louisiana as the result of an automobile accident. Kyle was born November 2, 1992 in Monticello, a lifelong resident of Crossett and a 2010 graduate of the Abiding Faith Christian School.  He was saved and baptized when he was 10 years old and was a member of Cross Road Missionary Baptist Church. Kyle was known for his strong work ethic and dedication. He worked in construction for Ricon, where he took pride in his work. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing, and he dearly loved his dog, Deuce. Kyle was the kind of person who was always willing to lend a helping hand. He never hesitated to help someone in need and would gladly give his last dollar to anyone who needed it. His generosity, compassion, and selfless spirit will be remembered by all who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Paul Ricks in 2008; his maternal grandparents, Roger McGilton and Bessie McCrory and his paternal grandparents, Henry Ricks and Vera Sedberry Ricks.

He is survived by his father, Fred Ricks of Crossett; his mother and step-father, Charlotte Easley and her husband, Rod, of Proctor; two sisters, Stacey Ricks Breshears and her husband, Alan, and Casey Land and her husband, Jamie; his grandmother, Bonnie Tumlison; a niece who he loved more like a sister, Tabitha Freeman, all of Crossett; his neighbors who he loved like his own family, Papaw and G-Mama, Ronald and Earlene Rice and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
