Keili White, 49, of Fountain Hill, died Friday, January 8, 2021. Keili was born and raised in Portland, Oregon, a resident of the Johnsville Community for the past 10 years, and a former resident of Hamburg and Crossett. She graduated from Benjamin Franklin High School in Portland, Oregon, and the University of Arkansas at Monticello. Keili was a veteran of the United States Army for nine years and served during the Persian Gulf War. She was an Art Teacher for the Hamburg School District and a member of the Church of the Redeemer. Keili was very creative and excelled in interior design and painting.
She is preceded in death by her father, James Jackson.
She is survived by her son, James Lane Carpenter of Crossett; her mother, Earla Mitchell Jackson and a brother, Benjamin Jackson, both of Portland, Oregon.
A family-led memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, January 16, 2021, at the Church of the Redeemer with Rev. Bob Whiteley officiating. Burial will be in Portland, Oregon.
