Karen Sue Beavers, 63, of Conway, died Wednesday, January 29, 2020, at her residence. Mrs. Beavers was a native of Fountain Hill; a resident of Conway for the past two years and a former resident of Crossett and Fountain Hill for many years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Fountain Hill First Baptist Church. She enjoyed fishing, camping, shopping and she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Louise Pruitt Withers in 2018; her grandparents, Ancy and Eva Lansdale Pruitt and George Dewey and Verla Bryan Withers and an uncle, Norwood Pruitt.
She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Dennis Beavers of Conway; two daughters, Rebecca Ledbetter of Crossett and Melanie Bradshaw and husband, Michael, of North Little Rock; her father, Bobby Withers of North Little Rock; a brother, Bryan Withers of Conway; two sisters, Sandra Withers Arnold and husband, Lawrence, of North Little Rock and Glynda Withers of Carlsbad, California; three grandchildren, Chandler, Jude and Paxton and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are 2 p.m., Friday, January 31, 2020 in the Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gordon Lemings and Rev. Ed Adcock officiating. Burial will be in the Flat Creek Cemetery. Pallbearers are Chandler Odom, Michael Bradshaw, John Paul Huggins, Taylor Withers, Bryan Withers and Lawrence Arnold.
Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. Friday in the chapel.
