June Carolyn Rice McCone

June Carolyn Rice McCone, 76, of Hamburg, died Monday, February 16, 2026, at the Baptist Health Medical Center - Drew County in Monticello. Mrs. McCone was born July 11, 1949 in Crossett, was a resident of Hamburg for the past 58 years, a former resident of Crossett and a 1967 graduate of Crossett High School. She was a devoted homemaker and faithful member of Promise Land Missionary Baptist Church. Mrs. McCone loved working in her yard, camping and cooking. Most of all, she cherished time spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Oliver E. and Thelma Christine Williams Rice; a brother, Gregory Rice; a nephew, Alan McCone and her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Oscar and Dorothy Tucker McCone.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Mickey McCone of Hamburg; a son, Robert McCone of Benton; two daughters, Jennifer Carter and her husband, Danny, of Hamburg and Alicia Rasburry and her husband, Aaron, of Benton; a brother, Dennis Rice and his wife, Elaine, of Crossett and an aunt, Eva Bradley of Hot Springs; six grandchildren, Drake McCone and his wife, Kristina, Russ McCone, Landon Carter and his wife, Ashton, Lawson Carter, Corbin Rasburry and Addi Rasburry; three great-grandchildren, Rilynne McCone, Remi McCone and Tate McCone and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, February 20, 2026, in the Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jimmy Wallace and Bro. Josh Luellen officiating. Burial will be in the Crossroads Cemetery. Pallbearers are Drake McCone, Russ McCone, Landon Carter, Lawson Carter, Corbin Rasburry and Michael Rice. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice. 

Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel.
