John A. Miles

John A. Miles, 74, of Hamburg, died Sunday, January 12, 2025, at Nightingale at Crossett Nursing Facility.  Mr. Miles was born February 26, 1950 in Crossett, a lifelong resident of Hamburg and a 1968 graduate of Crossett High School.  He was the owner and operator of Miles Auto Body for many years.  Mr. Miles was a faith-filled man and a devoted Christian who loved the Lord. He enjoyed watching sports, especially football, hunting, crappie fishing and working in his yard. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, T.V. and Mary Ruth Mann Miles and a brother, Harry David Miles.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Diane Miles of Hamburg; two daughters, Betty Ann Swaim and husband, Scott, of Hamburg and Jennifer Pinkerton and husband, Josh, of Bauxite; two brothers, Ralph Miles and wife, Fran, of Crossett and Ronnie Miles and wife, Beckie, of Little Rock; two sisters, Nancy Clark of Sherwood and Sherrye Ginn and husband, DeWitt, of Heber Springs; four grandchildren, Zach Swaim and wife, Brittney, Kati Warren and husband, Justin, Ryan Daley and Rowe Stokenbury; four great-grandchildren, Paisley, Blakely, Jagger and Walker and a host of nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
