Joe Foster, 59, of Hamburg, died Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at his sister-in-laws residence in White Hall, following a brief illness. Mr. Foster was born February 23, 1966 in Bastrop, Louisiana, was a lifelong resident of Hamburg and a 1984 graduate of Hamburg High School. He worked as a Water Operator for over 25 years in Wilmot, Portland, Hamburg, El Dorado and most recently for North Crossett Utilities. Mr. Foster was an avid Arkansas Razorback fan and liked watching and playing baseball. He enjoyed running his dogs and always had his dog, Jake, with him. Mr. Foster had a great personality and everyone enjoyed being around him and having fun. His family meant everything to him and he dearly loved his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Sue White and Mack Robinson; his father and step-mother, Howard and Barbara Stell Foster; two brothers, Johnny Foster and James "Jimmy" Foster; a step-brother, Hank Stell and a niece, Seleta Kay Foster.
He is survived by two sons, Evan Foster and Easton Foster both of Hamburg; two daughters, Emma Foster of Hamburg and Taylor McCain Hartley of White Hall; a sister-in-law, Kathy Foster of White Hall; a step-brother, Jimmy Stell and wife, Pam, of Hamburg; a step-sister, Patricia Miller and husband, James, of Crossett; a niece, Becky Foster; a great-nephew, Justin Foster, both of White Hall and many loving cousins and friends.
Funeral services are 10 a.m., Friday, March 14, 2025, at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church with Bro. Buddy Kinney officiating. Burial will be in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Pallbearers are Austin Vestal, Lamar Vestal, Jamie Spaulding, Barry Strebeck, Greg Maxwell and Michael Williams. Honorary pallbearers are Brad Gee, Aaron McLeod and Bruce Rich.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
