Jimmy C. Roberts

Jimmy C. Roberts, 78, of Hamburg, died Thursday, September 26, 2024, at CHI St. Vincent North Hospital in Sherwood.  Mr. Roberts was a lifelong resident of Hamburg, a 1964 graduate of Hamburg High School and a member of the North Main Baptist Church. He worked as a Machine Operator at the Georgia-Pacific Tissue Mill for 45 years, having retired in 2006. Mr. Roberts was an avid fisherman, hunter and an amazing wood worker. He loved his family and having fish fry's.

He is preceded in death by a son, Pharris Withers; a granddaughter, Allene Diane Withers; his parents, Johnnie and Ruby Roberts; three brothers, James Roberts, Danny Roberts and Raymond Roberts who died one week ago, and two sisters, Judy Ford and Patsy Swan.

He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Karon Bozeman Roberts; a son, Joe Roberts and wife, Michelle, all of Hamburg; two daughters, Kim Whitfield and husband, Marty, of Brandon, Mississippi and Kendal Emerson and husband, Kenny, of Hamburg a sister, Lynda Davey of Hamburg; 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and a host of niece and nephews.
