James Lamar "Jimbo" Ralph Obituary

James Lamar “Jimbo” Ralph, 61, of Hamburg died Sunday, October 11, 2020, at his residence.  Jimbo was a native and lifelong resident of Hamburg and a 1977 graduate of Hamburg High School.  He worked at the Georgia-Pacific Tissue Mill for 22 years and owned and operated J & S Quick Lube. He was a member of the Gardner Baptist Church. Jimbo was an avid hunter and fisherman and he loved listening to all kinds of music.

He is preceded in death by his father, Harrison Ralph in 1999 and his grandparents, Bill and Velma Ralph.

He is survived by two daughters, Jeanie Ralph of Little Rock and Dora Ralph of Springdale; his mother, Ima Jean Cook Ralph of Hamburg; a sister, Rhonda Cook and husband, Brad, of Monroe, Louisiana and his very close friends, John Sanderlin, Steve Lister and Jimmy Horn.

Graveside services are 10 a.m., Wednesday, October 14, 2020, in the Beech Creek Cemetery with Bro. Mike Chain officiating. Honorary pallbearers are Brad Cook, Jimmy “Coon Dog” Horn, Rob Johnson, Russell Dale Maxwell, Wayne Gates, John Gee, Jack Edward Gee, Chris Kelley, John Sanderlin, Steve Lister, Waymond "Peppy" Lovett and Jimmy Don Gillum. Memorials may be made to the Beech Creek Cemetery Association, c/o Jan Dawson, 161 Todd Moffatt Rd, Hamburg, AR  71646. 

Visitation will be 9:45 – 10 a.m., Wednesday at the cemetery.
