Jackie "Cooter" Keith

Jackie “Cooter” Keith, 53, of Hamburg, died Thursday, September 21, 2023 at his home. Mr. Keith was a native of Springhill, Louisiana and a resident of Hamburg for the past 26 years. After he graduated in 1987 from Sarepta High School, he started his career driving trucks and has been a truck driver for the Ashley County Road Department for the past 23 years. He attended Unity Baptist Church, was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. Mr. Keith lived his life to the fullest by loving to make people laugh and spending time with family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jackie & Sharon Bissell Keith; his maternal grandparents, John and Leoria Bissell and his adoptive parents, William and Ruby Lincoln.

He is survived by his wife of three years, Wanda Wallace Keith; two step-daughters, Wanda Faye Ramos and Liliana Ramos all of Hamburg; two sisters, Felecia Lincoln of Springhill, Louisiana and Tiffany Brenner and husband, Chris, of Jackson, Michigan; a brother, Alec Lincoln and wife, Victoria, of Crossett; two nieces, Abbigail Collier and Jami Lynn Baxter and two nephews, Chase Lincoln and Blake Lincoln.

Funeral services are 2 p.m., Sunday, September 24, 2023, in the Jones-Hartshorn Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. James Fleming officiating. Burial will be in the Rolfe Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers are Mike White, Derrick Peters, Kevin Tanksley, Jon Paul Kelley, Jamie Smith and Blaine Kilcrease. 

Viisitation will be 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
