Hettie Ricks Clark, 82, of Hamburg, died Saturday, September 24, 2022, at the Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff. Mrs. Clark was a native and former resident of Montrose and a resident of the Milo Community outside of Hamburg for the past 60 years. She worked for the Hamburg Shirt Factory for over 20 years, was a member of the Eden Baptist Church and attended Hollis Chapel Baptist Church. Mrs. Clark enjoyed sewing and canning and loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Hazel Jordan Ricks; a brother, George W. Ricks and a sister, Mary Tanklsey.
She is survived by a daughter, Betty Beaver and husband, Merrill, of Fort Worth, Texas; three sons, Johnny Ray Clark and wife, Polly, Tommy Clark and wife, Sherry, and Bobby Clark and wife, Terri, all of Hamburg, a brother, Hubert Ricks and wife, Ginger, of Banks; special friends, Mary Williams and Emma Jean Cope both of Hamburg; five grandchildren, Thomas Clark and wife, Kelli, Justin Clark, Nick Clark and wife, Kaitlyn, Katie Manzella and husband, Corben, and Dalton Woods and nine great-grandchildren, Addie, Laney, Mattie, Ellie, Laci, Jenna, Austyn, Davis and Zoey Bell.
Graveside services are 10 a.m., Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at the Eden Cemetery with Bro. Turner Roberts officiating. Memorials may be made to the Eden Cemetery, c/o Mr. Jerry Stanley, 747 Highway 8 West, Hamburg, AR 71646.
Visitation will be 9:45-10 a.m. Tuesday at the cemetery.
